Conference Center and Hotel Information
The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education, at the University of North Carolina, is named in honor of William C. Friday who served as president of the University of North Carolina for thirty years, and his wife who was a painter and sculptor.
Situated on quiet, beautifully landscaped grounds, the Friday Center is designed especially for adult learners. The building has 23 meeting areas, including a 420-seat auditorium. More information about the Friday Center.

Directions
The UNC William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education is located at 100 Friday Center Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27517, approximately three miles east of the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, just off Highway 54 East (Raleigh Road). The Center is a short distance from Interstate 40 (from Raleigh, I-40 exit 273A; from Greensboro, I-40 exit 273).
Transportation
The Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) is located near Chapel Hill.
The Friday Center is served by private transportation services as well as several Chapel Hill Transit system bus routes.
Conference Parking
